Guatemala was something special for month three and four. From our ever so loving ministry hosts to the ministry we served at, Guatemala was life-giving. It was a season that was unexpected, but greatly appreciated. It was a season where choosing in was so flippin’ easy. If I could compare it to anything, it felt like home. It was just one of those experiences where you just had to be there. I honestly don’t think there are enough words in the English language to explain how sweet it was, and I will forever smile at the fruitfulness of God’s double portion in these two months.

To be totally transparent, I can’t say I have processed everything from Guatemala. There was a lot of transition from then to now, and my heart hasn’t caught up quite yet. So in the meantime, I’ll just fill you in as to where I am now!!

Currently, I am living in the mountains of Honduras. H squad has been partnering with a ministry called Catracho Ministries for the past month, and we will be here until the end of June. Their mission is to facilitate theological education and strategies in order to plant communities of faith for the glory of God. They are currently pioneering their way through the mountains of Comayagua, and let me tell ya, it has been eye-opening to see how much they have poured out their hearts to this lost community. At the moment, our squad is helping to build the foundations of a church and training center as well as do house visits, food deliveries, and women’s ministry in the community. We hit the ground running pretty quickly once we got here; however, to see the progression of what once used to be a jungle to now a mission base/soon to be church & training site is transformative. It has been miraculous experiencing how the Lord is really making this a city on a hill, a lighthouse for people to find refuge in the hands of Jesus. It has been an honor to partner with our sweet ministry hosts as they push the plow for Jesus to be known to such an indigenous population.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)

Another cool cat fact (** drum roll please)…

is I got a new team…. MENDED AND WHOLE! We are a team of seven, and I have had the pleasure to team lead for them for the month of May! These girls, my girls are a mix of dolphins, whales, and everything in between! (If you get the reference, ya get it) This sweet team of mine has been a breath of fresh air during a season that can be difficult to choose in. They naturally love really well and lean so much on the Father for wisdom! I am undone by their spunky, authoritative, and righteous walks with the Lord, and it has been a blessing to taste and see the goodness of Him through them. They are prayer warriors, interceders, & d zone dance queens, and they have positively challenged not only my leadership but my own walk with Jesus. Wow I just love them so much, and I am grateful that the mountain provided a chance for our team to really choose each other. Living in tents and mysterious bug bites for the month could make anyone of us auto-pilot through, but it has been evident that mended and whole has fought to choose into what this season can bring. Wow, I just love them so much…THAT MY TEAM, GO TEAM.

So yea, a lot of rambling but this is what I am currently walking through this season. Thanks for tuning in!

Much love.
